Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door
by Bob Dylan
Mama, take this badge off of me
I can’t use it anymore.
It’s gettin’ dark, too dark for me to see
I feel like I’m knockin’ on heaven’s door.
Knock, knock, knockin’ on heaven’s door
Knock, knock, knockin’ on heaven’s door
Knock, knock, knockin’ on heaven’s door
Knock, knock, knockin’ on heaven’s door
Mama, put my guns in the ground
I can’t shoot them anymore.
That long black cloud is comin’ down
I feel like I’m knockin’ on heaven’s door.
Knock, knock, knockin’ on heaven’s door
Knock, knock, knockin’ on heaven’s door
Knock, knock, knockin’ on heaven’s door
Knock, knock, knockin’ on heaven’s door
Ever since I watched Windstruck, this song keep repeating over and over again in my head.
Such a beautiful song and I do prefer this version by Youme.
The guitar strumming, the strong Japanese accent, the emotions and of course the scenes in the movie all plays a part to make the song memorable to me.
