It has been a while since we went clubbing on weekday and the only reason to do so is because it is a public holiday the following day.
And to my surprise, this is the first time I club with Jessy which makes it more memorable.
Poppy Garden is the chosen place despite the bad service we received during our last visit.
As expected, there were more drama since their waitress or hostess is totally 1.) rude, 2.) judge you by how you dress, 3.) unfriendly, 4.) not helpful.
Since we had a bad experience previously, we decided to make a reservation for table ahead of time.
But when we reached, they told us they have checked many times and accuse us of not making a reservation or rather they couldn’t find our reservation.
Instead of helping us out, they just left us standing there and ignored us.
To be honest, I wasn’t expecting an apology but at least be a little more helpful and I don’t think that is too much to ask for.
And worst, they even asked us to move away and make way for other people without even providing a solution to us.
Look, it’s not like I want to block someone else, but I am your customer too and I did make a reservation.
And I learnt the lesson the hard way. Next time must insist to know who I am talking to.
Now, after trying to figure out things we noticed it was Ladies Night where ladies get to enter without cover charge.
As expected, they didn’t bother to let us know until we asked and allow us to enter.
Getting in was a challenge, after we got in was not any better.
They pushed us around from table to table. It’s like they internally never communicate with each other.
Every table seems to be reserved. I could understand if those with a “reserved” table had a sign placed on.
But even the tables that are without a sign was also reserved it seems.
When a waiter brought us to this table, another waiter showed up 10 minutes later decided to come move us and said it was taken.
Just as we manage to settled down, ordering was madness and the wait for them to bring us our bottle was crazy long.
And their service was just bad, unprofessional and havoc!
Thank god after like an hour, we finally get a place, our drinks and then finally be able to start partying.
I have not felt that difficult to party.
The night was great, the DJ was amazing.
And it would be wonderful without the drama.
After our party at Poppy Garden, we were hungry and go Suzi Corner for supper.
I needed something soupy and ordered Sup Cendawan while Brian ordered Ikan Bakar.
Only me and Brian were busy eating while Jessy and Gigi only grab a drink.
The soup is an Asian clear soup style with loads of button mushroom in it.
It tasted very much like Sup Ayam except it’s not as thick and is sweeter.
Yup, the carrots and vegetables makes the soup taste sweeter.
This is also my first time trying Ikan Bakar at Suzi’s.
This place is usually packed during dinner time so I was lazy to wait for the orders.
The fish was really quite big and its sauce was spicy with a sourish hint.
Not too bad, it tasted quite appetizing. 💕
Now that my stomach is filled and happy, we decided to call it a night and head back to sleep. 😴
