Backdated post. Actual event took place on 17 June 2006. We manage to locate our chalet, Bala’s Holiday Chalet. It was much more beautiful than I expect it to be. Beforehand, brian did send me a few pictures. Coincidently the next day, I saw a short review about it on TV. True to the core, the Bala’s Holiday Chalet is one of the oldest colonial building built during the pre-war era and yet still maintain it’s original structure. The building was a former British School and now has been refurbish to capture the original structure and feel of it. It is a peaceful and quiet place. The place is very cozy and give me this feeling like I am a little girl once again. The moment we arrived we checked in. We upgraded from a Family Room to a Family Suite. Yeah, initially only four of us group in for the trip. So when angeline decided to tag along.. we upgraded. Well… it’s worth it.. the Family Room offers 2 double bed and cost RM180. The Family Suite have 2 double bed and 1 single bed. The best part, it’s a two story room. Which means the girls get the top floor since it has a double bed and a single bed there that cost RM250. Yes, I must surely praise our CEO (Chief Event Organizer) Brian, for choosing such a cool location for us to stay. What can I say, it is surely a cool place to stay and a total different experience. I was elected the treasurer for this trip. Yes, everyone will throw in RM150. So yes, all the expenses, room rates, tol, petrol, food… whatever not is being deducted from the pool.
We then jump in to the tv room. This room is kinda small but cozy. Fully equipt with English like deco and lots of event pictures were being sticked to a board. I am quite amazed with the fireplace they have. Ah.. it makes the room so warm and fun.
Woo.. our stomach is making a lot of noise. It’s just time for dinner! We just gotta eat… eat… and eat… Address: Other Cameron post: |
