Project Crossroad

Calling for all devils.
This week Project Crossroad will showcase the devil side of things.
Are you scared? You better be, all the  666 – Devil character is about to unleash their horror.
May the devils be with you!

After disappearing two weeks in a row,  the devil manage to bring Jimbo back to life.
I was in a dilemma. While the artwork is pretty and devilish, it lacked the local flavour.
I almost rejected it. And when I asked Jimbo, he replied “Got KL crow what!”.
To which I laughed. Haha.. true, some parts of KL are known for the swarm of crows that pooped on our cars.
So yes, please recognise and check out the KL crows.

Jae Sern manage to humour us with his devil character, Ali Setan.
Even his devil is as fashionable as him, sk8ter boi fashion lookbook, “peace” pendant, listening to iPod.
Evil at it’s best. But what tops that is the I ❤ KL t-shirt!
That is one killer shirt!

L B is back again, this time with a sexy devil.
Portray in a comic strip style, the character is seen holding a bunch of rambutan.
But seems it is no ordinary rambutan.
Now it got us all thinking, what are the devil holding.. if they are not rambutans?

Brian submitted his Sarong Party Sheep (SPS) devil.
Very evil, very horror. Looks like the westernised version of the Chinese guardian of the underworld – Ox Head and Horse Face, in this case a Sheep Face?

May manage to submit her sketch this time round.
One big cheer for trying out!
Her version of sexy devil in kebaya is definitely seductive and dangerous.
And her name is mizzy.

Jenhan also shared his attempt.
Sharing with us his doodle, and very local indeed.
He adds in his humorous devil selling VCD, DVD and even nasi lemak.
Yes, that is a lot of evil temptations there! Who can resist this devil la!

As for me, I finally bring my character “evirei” to life.
With a triple 6 birthmark on the forehead and her only playmate is her doll, she is born to rule the underworld.

I also love Takeru’s version of 666 Devil that incorporated local element to it. local feel.
It’s horn were our very own landmark KLCC tower and a Malaysia flag stuck on the floating cloud.
It’s so cute and I wish  I could turn it in to a plush toy.

Makes me fired up and want to attend a rock concert now.

Brian is back with his sheep.
Guess by now, we can tell that he and his sheep are here to stay.
This time round, instead of the three blind mice, we get three blind sheep.
Rocking the world, one sheep at a time.

First time participating, LB manage to Rock ‘n Roll too.
His Sexy RockiBabyStar manage to  keep everyone rockin’
That sexy rock chick in a fitting white suit, that corset and that matching white boots.
Oo.. la la.. just too hawt to handle.

Somehow I always manage to make anything and everything cute and girly.
Despite how much I try or at least originally the idea was really rock.
Anyway, let me introduce you to this drummer chick, from “the drumstick” band.
He is always ready to rock the world.

Even on a busy day, Takeru still finds time to submit his rockstar sketch.
Love how he is multi-talented and takes up every role in the band.
Now let’s break some guitars .

Takeru finally coloured his sketch. This was his final version of Rockstar.

It had a Lat style and feel to it which I love.
The hand gestures were on point and I must say “you rock man!”

Project theme: 666 – Devil
Project description: Any version of devil character is welcomed. To make things more interesting, the devil will need to have some “local feel” to it. Examples: Devil wearing Cheongsam, devil holding roti canai and etc.

This week’s Project Crossroad will actually pay tribute to all the Super Animals in the whole wide world.
We have quite a number of new participation.
Yeay! Big applause to all the new members.

Haha! As I was addicted to Pussycat Dolls recently, I decided to draw a super sexy kitty!
Yes, a charismatic, flamboyant and sexy cat that will also save the world!
Can’t help it if I was inspired by the Pussycat Dolls. Their song is too sexy and catchy.
By the way, this Super Kitty is called vyona.

Jae Sern always surprised us with his choice of character.
Little would I expect him to do a giraffe.
Super Giraffe is quite cute. Reminds me of the famous Toy’s r Us mascot.
Which is really super to all of us who likes toys.
His giraffe name is Garfunkel.
You can call him Garf.

Brian decided to join in the fun this time.
Known as Mr. Sheep in our university group, it is no surprise that his little character is of a sheep.
Haha, his super sheep is really cute. Love the golden piercing on the sheep, in replace of the standard tags.

Felicia decided to join us too with her Super Moo Moo character.
She really loves cow so much, so much that everything around her surrounded by cow related items.
Cow dolls, cow prints and wallpapers. You name it, she has it.
Yes, as you can guess we all call her moo moo girl.

I was surprised to also receive artwork from Eunice aka princess koara.
Same like her nickname, she submitted 2 characters.
The first character was a super sexy koala bear. Love the tiara, and instead of a print on shirt, the “super logo” is a tattoo at the arm.
The second character was a Super Penguin. Ah, this is too cute. Up, up and away!

Also received submission from takeru.
His Super Mouse is cute.
It is a cute rendition of a Jerry the mouse in Tom & Jerry and Micky Mouse gloves.
Fly away our dear mouse! You can do it.

The last submission for the week was by lei kaede.
Lei is a friend of takeru.
He submitted a Super Piggy! Oh, how I love piggies.
The “S” hair style, that piggie tail on the logo.
Haha, just too cute to ignore.
