Wonda Coffee Kluang Edition was launched in collaboration with Malaysian superhero; Keluang Man.
It is the first Kluang-style coffee in a ready to drink form.
Kluang is a region in Johor popular for its aromatic local coffee ☕.
The best part of this can, it has got my name on it 😍. Nice!
Snack Attack!
Anne brought me to a shop near her place and look at these interesting flavours by FOSSA Chocolate 🍫!
I personally liked the layout of the packaging – simple and classy with a hint of cuteness.
Bought some back to give the kids in office as souvenirs.
I am not sure what the Spicy Mala, Satay Sauce and Pineapple Tart 🍍 ones will taste like.
Hope they taste good.

I finally manage to get my hands on the limited edition Kit Kat Cafe Latte 🍫.
So glad that there is a 7 Eleven near my office, so quickly grab a box.
Each Kit Kat box comes with 2 packet of chocolate which weighs 17g each.
I must say the design of the box may look quite bland, and I find it quite dark to be relatable to “latte” ☕.
Taste wise I find that it do have seriously strong coffee taste, to a point it is too overpowering the chocolate bar.

I am still in luck to enjoy Easter chocolate eggs despite now is actually way over Easter Day .
It is such a shame that we don’t celebrate this occasion here, so even lesser opportunity to get these goodies aside importing it.
Now, thanks to my cuzzie who got me this Wonka Caramelicious milk chocolate eggs all the way from Australia!
They look just so pretty and it is a product from Nestle.
The entire packaging theme is just bursting with fun and circus like feel .
I was quickly attracted to the yellow and red swirl, topped with the iconic Wonka hat on the logo.
My only comment on the packaging is wished they change the styling of the stars which may seems a little off from the theme.
From the box, one can tell clearly that this box set comes with Milk Chocolate Egg and 4 Mini Eggs filled with Gooey Caramel. The Milk Chocolate Egg is the largest egg. It is actually bigger than an actual egg size.
To compare in size wise, I think it should take around 6 – 8 of the mini eggs to make one of these milk chocolate eggs.
However, unlike the mini eggs that is filled with gooey caramel, the milk chocolate egg is hollow.
So aside the standard thin milk chocolate cover for the egg, there is no special surprise to the milk chocolate egg.
As for the Mini Eggs filled with Gooey Caramel, it was quite a let down as the actual product have very little caramel.
And yes, I must give credit to the food artist or the person doing digital imaging as the actual product don’t have any caramel flowing or oozing out. Not only are the caramel little, it is pretty hard or solid too.
I am pretty disappointed given how much I love caramel and are looking for some caramel satisfaction from them.

Chocolates 🍫, in my opinion doesn’t need not be expensive in order to taste good.
Often times, I find cheaper or more affordable chocolate taste much better than the expensive ones 💸.
I know it sounds weird, but it is true.
I think the Meiji brand needs no introduction as they have always been known for producing tasty snacks with good packaging design.
While I love the Hawaiian Host Milk Chocolate Covered Macadamia Nuts, I think it is slightly costly to buy and eat them all- the time. Hence, Meiji Macadamia Chocolates is my next best options for my weekly snacks.
Designed similar to a pack of Marlboro cigarette box 🚬, both leverage on the red and white theme and also played with the diamond arrow shape pointing downwards.
The minimalist design is simply functional yet pleasing to the eyes.
All you need to know as in what does the box 🎁 contains and how many units of it are literally on the box – 12 pieces chocolate covered macadamia snacks (9 on the top cover, while they slot in the other 3 at the side of the box).
And I love how it provides a one liner introduction to the main ingredient – Macadamia.
It reads Macadamia, called “King of nuts”, is the most valuable in the world.
Taste wise, while it may not be the smoothest and silkiest milk chocolate 🍫 I have tasted before, I think it still taste decent for its price. But the big and crunchy macadamia nut in the middle manage to add an extra kick to the whole experience.
Meiji just manage to find that perfect balance between the amount of chocolate per piece and the macadamia nut size.
That crunch just makes you feel like a bursting nutty flavour were released in your mouth and that crunchy texture with the chocolate melting in the mouth. Wow ✨! Just unbelievable.
The chocolate sizes were also in a dangerous ⚡ size – bite size!
It’s so dangerous as one won’t even realize they are eating one, eating another one, and another and another.
And before we knew it, it’s all gone.
But what is even more dangerous? It’s not as sweet as the other chocolate bar I had.
Probably due to the balanced ratio of chocolate and nuts that made me focus all my attention to the crunchiness of the macadamia nut rather than picking up on the sweetness of the chocolate.
Love it, and definitely recommend it to macadamia and chocolate lovers!

My heart and stomach always have space for a good soft and chewy !
It is kinda sad, given I didn’t have the patience and still can never master the art of baking .
Baking does test a person patience, precision and not forgetting the cleaning up process is simply crazy.
That is also one of the reason why I rather just purchase if off shelf instead.
In one of my random grocery shopping day, I stumbled upon this clean white paper bag packaging.
And honestly, it is this pure clean white paper bag with a giant chocolate chip cookie that caught my attention.
It does seems to have that same look and feel of the fish shaped cookies my colleagues shared with me previously.
And after looking at the shelf, it is confirmed they both are from the same brand, Pepperidge Farm.
Unlike other brands that uses a lot of vibrant and striking colours in their packaging to attract consumers, the Pepperidge Farm packaging stood out by just looking clean, white and neat.
I personally love how they use colours that warms the heart and are comfortable to the eyes.
And to my surprise, the Pepperidge Farm seems to take cookie making serious and have a large variety of flavours and types.
I finally decided to pick the Pepperidge Farm: Chocolate Chunk Cookies – Milk Chocolate Macadamia.
I am actually impressed to see that the difference between the packaging product shot and the actual product looks quite identical. Unlike many, the packaging shots are most of the time “enhanced” with adding extra items which most of the time are “serving suggestions” or “for illustrational purposes only”.
In the packet, there are a total of 8 cookies, 4 pieces per tray which were stacked up.
The amount of chunky chocolate are generous in every piece of cookie.
And I love how the chocolate chunk holds on to it’s shape yet melts instantly in your mouth as you bite them.
Together with the chunky roasted macadamia nuts, perfecto !
That mix of soft and chewy cookie and the aroma of the roasted macadamia nuts is simply irresistible.
This is actually a soft cookie type, which may not be to the liking of some individuals.
If you prefer the thinner and crispy type, this is not for you, but you can try the other version with the label “Thin & Cripsy”.

Bright PINK!! 😍 That the first thing that caught my attention to this Firefly bottle.
I think the packaging of this bottle is really well executed.
I love every single angle of it – from front to back, top to bottom.
Their font play is really cute too and I especially fell in love with how they use a nicely shot black and white polaroid treated picture as the main focus.
The back of the bottle featured the short description on the drink and it’s ingrediants and nutritional facts (click here to read about it).
They creatively use and match 2 different font type giving it an artistic feel just like someone is providing feedback and enhancement to the original label.
It really made me smile when I look at it, cause it reminded me of how I scribble on my sketches and notepads.
The Firefly tonic drinks comes in 6 different type of healthy drink.
But so far, I only manage to see 4.
So what exactly is Firefly : Wake Up drink?
It actually contains a mixture of Peach & Green Tea drink.
According to the label, they claimed that the drink is made from all natural ingredients with no added sugar.
The Wake Up drink is reddish in colour. As for the taste, it was quite alright.
One can really feel that it is made of natural ingredients and had this distinguish taste from the local fruit juice brands.
The drink itself is not that sweet, so I guess they manage to keep up to their no added sugar claim.
This bottle of 330ml healthy drink can help you survive boring meetings, packed in such a beautifully designed bottle cost RM9.90.
It is quite pricey, but I love the bottle and decided to collect them all.
I got mine at Isetan KLCC, but am not sure if one can get it anywhere else.

Recently, I notice McD’s sold a different version of their apple pie.
Riding on the success of their apple pie 🍎, they launched Banana Pie 🍌 where they replaced my favourite Pineapple Pie 🍍. 😢
I was well warned in advance. Everyone told me it doesn’t taste as good as the pineapple version but that didn’t really stop me.
I find the banana pie is packed in their original pillow shaped packaging, but in a bright and cheerful yellow colour that clearly differentiate it from the red apple pie packaging.
From the packaging perspective, the only impressive side was the brightness and cheerful of the yellow colour.
The rest was just boring and I still can’t justify the reason for putting the weird and odd lines on the packaging.
Unlike the apple pie / pineapple pie where you can taste the chunky feel of the fruit, the Banana Pie doesn’t give you that feel plus it doesn’t have a strong banana taste or aroma.
I guess the chunky texture is hard to achieve because banana itself is a soft type of fruit.
So, if you are looking for the crunchy experience, the banana pie is not for you.

I love Peanut Butter m&m’s! It is one of the best flavours they came up with so far.
The fact that I can’t get it here in Malaysia makes me love it even more.
As far as I know, the nearest place to get this is in Singapore, so I would ask my friend to help me buy 10 packs every time they head over to Singapore.
I think I have been spoilt by this Peanut Butter m&m’s.
Ever since I tried them, the normal m&m’s never appeal to me anymore.
The peanut butter filling really compliment or elevates the chocolate taste very well.
The size of each m&m’s is a little big bigger when compared to the normal m&m’s.
The exterior of the chocolate shell is also a little more oily in comparison to the normal ones.
I wish they would start selling some over here in Malaysia so I could get my hands on them!
As for the packaging, I must admit I like the bright red colour ALOT!
One can recognize the colour and pick it up easily. But if it was placed side by side with a packet of NIPS, there is a high chance one would pick up the wrong one.

I am back , after a long break from blogging something related to food .
This time, I am going to review my Appletiser and Grapetiser experience when I was exposed to it during my recent visit to Secret Recipe.
The restaurant were full of promotional material for this bottle drink, which in my guesstimation slightly bigger than a bottle of Tabasco sauce. Given it has quite a cute name, me and my sister decided to order some to try out what is this drink all about.
The drink is a 275ml sparkling juice that comes in a small semi transparent frosted green bottle.
I personally find the bottle of the shape very elegant and sleek, and quite easy to hold given it’s tall yet sleek shape.
The bottle cap also comes with a cute icon, which quite resemble a simplified apple or grape .
The drink comes in 3 flavours – White Grape Juice, Red Grape Juice (Grapetiser) and Apple Juice (Appletiser)
Me and my sister decided to each order a different flavour to try.
We end up trying the Red Grape Juice and the signature Apple Juice to review the difference.
Trying the drink chilled without ice, the drink won’t fill up a full glass.
The Appletiser doesn’t taste like any sparkling apple juice I have drank before. In fact, it tasted so much more like a sparkling white grape juice than an apple juice.
I had to re-examine the bottle a couple of times to make sure I wasn’t serve another drink, but seems it was what it was.
While for the Grapetiser, it tasted exactly like a sparkling Ribena except is much less sweet in comparison.
One can tell both the drink has much less sugar added as the drink doesn’t leave us with a sticky throat.
It is definitely refreshing and nice.
